County staff schedules nuisance-complaint hearing for Feb. 6; agenda posting verified

Pam Moore told the Churchill County Board of Commissioners that a nuisance complaint had been filed and that county code requires such complaints be heard between Feb. 1 and Feb. 11. Moore said she would set the hearing during the county’s regular meeting on Feb. 6.
Moore also verified that the special meeting agenda had been posted on Jan. 7 between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the locations listed on the agenda, and she said she corrected assessor parcel numbers on the agenda prior to its revision.
The board approved the revised agenda at the start of the special meeting by motion and voice vote. No public comment was recorded on the nuisance complaint item during the special meeting.
Moore presented the scheduling and posting as procedural items; the board did not take further action on the substance of the nuisance complaint at the special meeting.
