District outlines boundary study, schedules Layton cluster meeting and March 18 public hearing

Davis County School District staff updated the board on a boundary-study process that officials said is in an early analysis phase and will include public hearings and cluster meetings before any final decisions are made.
Tracy Robbins and Ruth Ann Keller told the board that the district has met with all clusters except the Layton cluster, which is scheduled for Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Federal Programs Conference Room at Freeport (F2). Robbins said the districthas been visiting principals to collect local perspectives and to make principals aware of conditions in neighboring schools.
