The board certified “Resolution 2502 CCO-1,” which incorporates amendments to the Sweetwater County Zoning Resolution that, among other changes, adopt the 2024 International Fire Code and add new definitions intended to clarify staff review of land-use applications. Land Use Director Eric Bingham told the board the Planning and Zoning Commission declined to recommend changes to the county’s recreational-vehicle (RV) section and that staff will hold additional workshops before returning that portion for consideration. No public comments were received during the 45-day comment period the county held before certification.
