Tippecanoe County commissioners on Feb. 18 approved a contract with Heartland Contractors for approximately 900 feet of sidewalk in the Villa area at a low bid of $44,720, the board reported.
A county representative said Tony obtained three quotes for the work and the lowest quote came in at $44,720. The project will be funded from the Healthy Indiana Fund, the county said.
A commissioner moved to approve the agreement with Heartland Contractors; after a second the motion passed on a voice vote. The county did not provide a construction timeline at the meeting.
