Board approves A & B Glass quote to replace library doors

The work covers the library entrance and the adjacent rear door, including replacement of a rotting frame and associated door hardware; staff noted the rear entrance quote includes access/security features that account for its higher cost.
A school board member moved to accept the A & B Glass quote; another board member seconded the motion. The board chair called for the vote and said, "All in favor? Motion passes." No roll-call tally was recorded in the minutes.
Board members asked practical questions about the door glass and appearance; staff said the vendor will retrofit the new doors to match the current opening and that the project should improve energy performance.
The board directed staff to notify Mr. Lister to sign the contract and to schedule the work in April.
