Committee members asked downtown officers and property managers to check on building status and report back at the March meeting if the business has not reopened.
Committee members reiterated that cooperation with officers during noise or nuisance responses is a licensing expectation and that demerit-point thresholds guide remediation and potential suspension or revocation of entertainment or liquor licenses.
Clerk staff clarified procedural consequences: if the committee had voted to deny an entertainment license outright, the applicant would have to pay a new application fee to reapply; by leaving some items unacted upon staff can reconsider the original application without another fee if the matter is brought back before the committee when work is complete.
