The committee reviewed an attachment showing color options and the proposed location at the base of the large slide, between the slide and a seesaw. Members noted there must be a required clearance distance from playground equipment and that installers will confirm placement at the time of installation. Adam from the Department of Public Works will be trained on how to take the sunshade down for winter storage to extend fabric life.
Committee members said the town administrator had signed off on the project during the week, clearing the item for procurement and installation. The committee asked staff to confirm installation details and any required site adjustments at the installer’s on‑site meeting.
