County staff demonstrate ADP system for employee records and performance evaluations

Human Resources Director Tracy Humphrey led a Feb. 4 ADP work session for commissioners to demonstrate how to access employee records, pay statements and the new electronic performance-evaluation workflow.
Humphrey showed commissioners how to log in at adp.lincolncountysd.gov, update personal information and view pay and tax statements. She demonstrated the My Team view and the Performance Dashboard where liaisons can review employees’ self-assessments, set and track goals, provide manager feedback and release completed evaluations to employees.
Humphrey said HR will email commissioners and department heads about evaluation deadlines and that the county hub will hold job descriptions, pay-grade matrices and company policies. She acknowledged technical access issues for some commissioners during the session and said HR and IT will troubleshoot account and view permissions so each commissioner can see the staff for whom they are the liaison.
Commissioners asked procedural questions about timelines, the ability to view W-2s and where to find team calendars showing staff time off; Humphrey demonstrated those features. No formal action was taken; the session provided training and set a path for HR to finish liaison assignments and resolve access problems.
