Commissioners award 2025 bridge preservation contract to Kramer and Associates for $3.21 million

There was no public input. A motion to award the contract to Kramer and Associates passed on a roll-call vote with Commissioners Arons, Otten, Putnam and Landin recording "yes." The clerk recorded the motion and the board carried the item.
Why it matters: awarding the contract initiates project procurement and scheduling for three county bridges; the low bid preserves budget capacity relative to the engineer's estimate.
The county will execute the contract with Kramer and Associates and proceed with project scheduling and oversight through the highway superintendent's office.
