Process and timeline: the board will accept the resignation tonight (added to the evening meeting), post an application for the District 3 seat on the district website the next day, close submissions on Jan. 31, and vote to appoint a replacement at the Feb. 13 school board meeting. The board removed the resignation acceptance from the consent agenda for separate consideration and discussion.
No appointment was made during the work session; staff will manage the application posting and scheduling for interviews and the February vote.
