Plano commission approves replat for Polo Estates patio-home lot

The Plano Planning and Zoning Commission on Feb. 17 approved a replat to create one patio-home lot (Block B, Lot 16) in Polo Estates Phase B.
The action, taken during the commission's administrative consideration, updates lot lines and building setbacks for a 0.2-acre parcel west of Old Westbury Lane, about 190 feet north of Turtle Creek Drive. John Kim, planner with the planning department, presented the revised site plan and said the item was recommended for approval and that he was "available for questions." Commissioners moved and seconded the administrative approval and the motion passed 8-0.
The replat is intended to establish building lines required in the city's Patio Home District. Commissioner Lolli asked whether setbacks must be part of the plat; staff responded that the Patio Home District has a special requirement to set building lines on the plat. No members of the public registered to speak; the commission closed the public hearing before voting.
The approval permits the applicants, Jeffrey and Cynthia Sherbeth, to proceed with the lot configuration reflected in the revised site plan. Staff noted there are four similar patio-home lots remaining in the overall phase.
