The Historic Preservation Coordinator urged commissioners to submit concise subcommittee reports (Word document or email) by the first Thursday of each month so staff have time to compile meeting packets. She said the reports can be brief and include photos or links.
The coordinator introduced a new city employee (named Nate) who will serve as a liaison for boards and commissions and help coordinate new-member intake and possible trainings, including guidance on Robert's Rules. She said that staff will schedule meetings with each board liaison to improve touch points and onboarding.
On project workload, the coordinator said there have been only two administrative reviews year-to-date due to winter and that the Historic District Commission hearings are scheduled for next week.
No formal action was taken; the report was informational.
