Residents call for restored BZA Zoom recordings and broader master plan engagement

For the record, Miss Warwick said, “We pay for that technology. The benefit should flow to us.” She said the BZA previously sent Zoom recording links on request but that practice has stopped. Warwick also urged the council to investigate why transcripts and recordings are not being made available, and she criticized what she described as an advisory group of 41 people that includes developers and city staff meeting in closed sessions on the overdue master plan update.
Warwick requested that master-plan advisory meetings be open to public observation and that community focus groups be established and allowed to attend advisory meetings. The committee did not take formal action during the meeting on these requests.
