The Budget, Finance and Audit Standing Committee of the Detroit City Council voted to return the fiscal review of the proposed capital agenda (items 5.1–5.4) in one week after staff said additional responses were forthcoming.
The committee chair brought up line items 5.1 through 5.4, which cover the fiscal review and policy division analysis of the proposed capital agenda for fiscal years 2025–2026 through 2029–2030. Committee staff member Corley told members he had received a notice from Donnie Johnson of the Office of the Chief Financial Officer that OCFO would provide responses to questions from Council Member Gabriela Santiago Romero and others, and that partial responses to President Pro Tem James Tate’s questions were forthcoming.
Corley said OCFO would follow up with other agencies to answer outstanding questions. Staff member Todd confirmed he concurred and expected to provide additional information during the coming week. On a motion from the floor, with no member objecting, the committee agreed to bring items 5.1–5.4 back in one week.
