Representative McGeorge moved for unanimous adoption; the House adopted the resolution without objection. Multiple members took points of personal privilege to thank Hunter for his institutional knowledge and mentorship. Representative Livingston said Hunter had been "instrumental for conservative policies," and Representative Wilmeth described him as a "smart" leader who cared for staff. The clerk was instructed to record the action and convey the measure to the Senate.
