The delegate also said NJSBA's government-relations team is tracking nearly 1,800 bills at the statehouse and is launching a new quarterly online newsletter called "Capital Watch" that will summarize pending legislation, updates on bill progress and the association's positions.
Dana noted upcoming NJSBA training opportunities, including a women's leadership conference on March 31 and other events such as a public-relations forum and an equity expo. The NJSBA Board of Directors is scheduled to next meet on March 28.
Separately, board member Liz said the district's leadership attended a Lunar New Year celebration and noted Black History Month recognitions and elementary science-fair season. These items were presented as liaison updates rather than formal board actions.
