Members present approved consent items 1 through 14 and agreed to continue nonconsent item 15 to a Feb. 11 Public Works Committee meeting, a staff member said.
During a roll call, Roberts, Secrest, Pettigrew and Hamm were recorded as present and a quorum was declared. A motion to adopt the day's agenda was moved and seconded before the meeting moved on to consent business.
The body approved consent items 1–14 by voice vote. The meeting record shows an audible "Aye" and a subsequent statement of "Opposed? Motion passes." No roll-call vote counts were recorded in the transcript.
Jamie, a staff member, asked the chair to continue item 15 because the grants division requested to appear before the Public Works Committee on Feb. 11. "They actually asked if they could be on your February 11 Public Works Committee meeting. So with your permission, if you'd make a motion to continue it to the February 11 Public Works Committee meeting. Our apologies," Jamie said.
A motion to continue item 15 was made, seconded and approved by voice vote. The meeting concluded after a motion to adjourn was moved, seconded and the chair declared the meeting adjourned.
