Geary County CVB receives $1,500 county support for regional marketing

Dijkstra requested a $1,500 contribution for the bureau’s 2025 promotion and marketing for Big Splash. A commissioner moved, a second was given and the board approved the $1,500 allocation by voice vote.
Ending: Dijkstra said he would meet later with community-development staff about collaboration and provide commissioners with a copy of a previously distributed pickleball packet; commissioners approved the funding request.
