Wayne County committee approves minutes, year‑end reports and several vendor contracts

The committee approved the Dec. 11, 2024 meeting minutes. It also forwarded for receipt the Wayne County Ethics Board 2024 year‑end report and the Department of Corporation Counsel settlement report for October–December 2024.
Tim Johnson, director of administration for the commission, described Amendment 1 to a two‑year cooperative agreement with Carahsoft Technology Corporation for a subscription license to manage constituent communications using Indigov; Johnson said the county used less of the product than projected and the contract amendment will save roughly $9,000. Commissioners approved the amendment on a motion by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by Commissioner Killeen; tablet voting was used and the clerk announced the motion carried.
The committee also approved a three‑year professional‑services contract with CTS Companies for installation, maintenance and repair of telephone equipment and telecommunications wiring.
As an addendum, the committee approved a comparable‑source contract with Dell Marketing for volume licensing of various Microsoft products. Motions for these items were moved and seconded by commissioners Killeen and Wilson, and the clerk announced approval following tablet votes.
All consent and contract items were approved without extended debate.
