Staff said each truck has multiple cameras — in the cab, the hopper and on both sides — and that video and related data are stored in the cloud; supervisors and the solid-waste manager have playback access. Staff also explained the system’s potential to inform route decisions by providing operational data on workload and skipped pickups.
