Mindy Kisner, finance manager for the Legislative Affairs Agency, reported to the Legislative Council on Feb. 12 that the FY 2024 independent audit conducted by external auditors resulted in a clean opinion with no exceptions.
Kisner said the audit assesses internal controls and the legislature’s financial statements; she told members the outcome was clean and offered to answer questions. Members thanked Kisner and her staff for the outcome and for maintaining practices that produce clean audits.
The audit presentation was informational; no council action was required beyond receipt of the report.
