City staff on Feb. 12 heard a second submittal presentation for the AdventHealth Fudge Road complex phase 1 construction site plan.
Staff described the project as a food processing and distribution facility and said a special-exception permit for the use was approved in December 2024. The applicant told the committee it had addressed comments from the first review and planning staff reported no further comments on the record.
Michael Buchanan of McIntosh Associates attended to represent the applicant and told staff the access drive fire had asked to be paved had been addressed in the plan. A fire representative requested that hydrant GPS coordinates and hydrant-flow data be provided before the project proceeds “vertical” (prior to above-ground construction). The request was characterized as an additional submittal item to support the fire review.
Police and building staff recorded no outstanding comments on the record during the meeting. The committee did not record any formal action or final approval in the transcript excerpt; the applicant and staff will continue schedule-driven technical coordination.
