Zelda, a WFS Media Club student, urged classmates to treat cafeteria staff courteously, saying it is "important to always be kind to the lunch ladies" and recommending simple manners such as "please and thank you" to make lunchtime more pleasant.
Jack, a WFS Media Club student, described a class pet: "The name of the axolotl is Seaweed," he said, and noted the animal's regenerative abilities and its role as a responsibility and learning opportunity for fifth graders under classroom supervision (he identified Dosey and Miss McCarthy in his remarks as the adults associated with the class pet).
Owen, a WFS Media Club student, reminded listeners to check the school's lost-and-found: "The lost and found is located at the base of Stairway A." The bulletin closed with a general encouragement about daily reading and doing one's best in school.
