County planning staff told the board on Feb. 13 that the record on the proposed 2024 fall amendments to the Carroll County Water and Sewer Master Plan had been left open after a Jan. 30 public hearing and that no additional public comments were received. A motion to adopt the February amendments to the 02/2023 Water and Sewer Master Plan and forward them to the Maryland Department of the Environment for final approval was made, seconded and approved by voice vote.
Planning staff said the adoption follows the required public‑notice process and that MDE will review the forwarded amendments and issue final approval or guidance. No commissioner asked for additional changes during the Feb. 13 adoption vote.
