District to consider field-sharing agreements with Chester Valley Little League and Great Valley Little League

District facilities staff reviewed two draft reciprocity agreements that would allow local Little League organizations to use school athletic fields for baseball and softball.
Staff described agenda item 6.02 as an agreement with Chester Valley Little League to allow reciprocity use of General Wayne and Monument Park athletic fields for baseball and softball at no cost to either entity. Item 6.03 is an agreement with Great Valley Little League and the middle school to share use of the middle-school fields and GVLL fields under similar terms.
Staff said the agreements are intended to increase opportunities for students by making school and community facilities available to each organization according to an availability schedule. The facilities use report (item 6.04) was included in the packet for board review.
The presentation was informational at the work session; the board was scheduled to consider the items at the next voting meeting.
