The public-address announcer introduced each senior with family members and the brief post-high-school plans when provided.
The Mustangs were coached by Robert Yates, assisted by Ryan Ware. The visiting Bulldogs were introduced as coached by Sonny Johnson. Starting lineups announced included Maple Heights seniors Anthony Witt (No. 3), Kaelon Hertz (No. 1), Andre McCullough (No. 5), Kaelon (No. 10) and David (No. 35); Garfield starters included Braylon Sullivan (No. 0), Devon Jackson (No. 1), Ari Jones (No. 2), Marcus Johnson (No. 11) and Nasir Hines (No. 21).
The public-address announcer said Marcus Johnson had 16 points at halftime. The announcer also called the end-of-game score and advised spectators to exit the stadium promptly. The final scoreboard read Garfield 93, Maple Heights 57.
