The Spring Hill City Council voted 4-0 on Feb. 13 to approve a $67,000 contribution to the Kansas Department of Transportation’s K‑7 Corridor study.
City staff member Ms. Abel told the council the $600,000 study will revisit a corridor study KDOT performed roughly 15–20 years ago and will include the Spring Hill and Olathe areas. Abel said Olathe had already committed its $67,000 share and that Johnson County had an outstanding request for its $67,000 share; Spring Hill’s approval would cover the city’s "fair share" of the local match.
