The Lancaster County Wetlands Board approved a seasonal intern position request and approved the board's January meeting minutes.
Olivia Hall said she requested, through the county budget process, a seasonal summer intern position for the wetlands board, ideally filled by a rising senior at Lancaster County High School. "This person would ideally be a rising senior... and they'll be helping me with all of the paperwork and learning the whole permitting process," Hall said. A board member moved to approve the request; the motion passed with the chair noting the board had approved the intern.
Later in the meeting the board considered approval of the January minutes. After confirming members present and absent, a member moved to approve the minutes. The chair counted votes and recorded that three members supported approval; three members were absent for that vote. No further business was raised and the chair adjourned the meeting.
