The Lycoming County Prison Board approved three routine items during its meeting: the minutes of the previous meeting, the January 2025 expenditure reports for the prison and prerelease center, and a package of personnel hires.
The approvals came on motions, each of which received a second and were adopted with the board voice vote recorded as "aye." Gary Dunn, a board member, called for the voice vote on one item, saying, "all in favor say aye." No no votes or abstentions were recorded on the meeting transcript.
Personnel approvals listed in the agenda packet and approved by the board included Ayla Dionne, Alan Swiger, Jessica Kipp and Payne Jones as full-time correctional officers at the prison; Cecilia Miller, Faith Kovaleski and Riley Hoye as full-time resident supervisors at the prerelease center. The board did not provide additional detail on start dates or salaries during the meeting.
The board moved on to informational reports after completing the votes and then adjourned. The board scheduled its next meeting for March 14 at the prison; subsequent meetings are set for April 11 and May 9 in the Third Street Plaza meeting room.
