• Policy adoptions (three policies posted for second reading) — motion carried. Officials noted the one substantive wording change in the finance policy: "All gifts, grants and/or bequests shall become the sole property of the Oceanside School District upon acceptance and the district reserves the right to use, relocate, modify or dispose of such items. The district is not obligated to maintain, repair, replace, or retain any gift beyond its useful life or as deemed appropriate by the district." The policies had been posted on the district website for 30 days prior to the vote.
