Green Local Schools board approves construction alternates, boiler replacement, tax rates and special-education policies in unanimous votes

On special education, the board approved (1) an agreement with an outside service provider to supply specialized services to students placed at the LEAP school at a rate of $160 per student per day, effective July 1, 2024, and (2) the adoption of the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce'developed special-education model policies and procedures (2024 version) required by the Ohio operating standards for the education of children with disabilities.
The board also adopted a resolution authorizing continued membership in the Ohio High School Athletic Association for the 2025-26 school year.
