The site lies in the outlying suburban area and an intensive-development future land-use category and is partly within a mixed-use overlay. The county hearing examiner recommended approval and the applicant submitted two master concept plans showing alternative layouts, Workman said.
Workman told the commissioners there were two participants of record in the hearing; no members of the public addressed the board during the Feb. 5 meeting. Commissioner Ford indicated he had no questions, and a motion to approve the rezoning was moved from the dais and seconded. The motion carried with no recorded objections.
The county record for the case lists two master concept plans and the hearing examiner's recommendation; staff and the applicant were present for questions. No vote tally by individual commissioner name was recorded in the meeting transcript.
The approval clears the rezoning step; further permit reviews and site-specific approvals were not discussed on the record at this hearing.
