Burleson ISD: 11 of 18 campuses pass TEA intruder detection audits, two more pass since January

Burleson ISD safety and security staff updated the Board of Trustees on Feb. 10 that the district’s TEA intruder detection audits continue to show compliance at audited campuses.
Safety lead Steve Logan told trustees that since January two campuses—identified in the presentation as Curt and BCHS—were audited and both "passed with no findings." Logan said that brings the total to 11 of 18 campuses audited, all with no findings. "Thank you to all of our campus administrators and staff and our students for continuing to follow those safety protocols and put safety first," Logan said.
The item was an informational update; trustees offered thanks to campus administrators and staff for the work on safety protocols. No separate board action was taken at the meeting on the audits.
