District seeks to award network operations hardware bid to Integra for $443,000

Anthony Rapp, director of administration, said the last significant upgrade to the network location occurred in 2023-24 and cost $903,080. For this solicitation the district received three written bids: CMS Communications at $493,000; Integra at $443,000; and RTS Solutions at $535,000. Staff said they will recommend awarding the work to Integra as the lowest responsible bidder.
Board members asked whether the current scope is a continuation or a separate project from the 2023-24 upgrade. Rapp described this work as hardware-focused and as finishing work from the prior upgrade cycle, intended to put the district's network equipment "in good shape for a bit." He also confirmed the purchase is budgeted for the year.
No formal vote was taken at the finance committee; staff indicated the recommendation will be brought to the board for action next week.
