Coyle fire department receives new rescue vehicle; brush truck and automatic aid under way

Staff also told the council they are negotiating an automatic aid agreement with Perkins to provide faster response to auto accidents on Coyle Road to Western Road; if approved, the agreement will be the first automatic‑aid arrangement between Perkins and Coyle. Councilmembers noted the value of formal mutual‑aid agreements for cross‑river responses and to improve coverage in heavy‑traffic corridors.
