The board moved and seconded a motion to approve the change of manager for LLH, LLC doing business as Trader Joe’s, conditional on payment of all taxes and fees and receipt of required city department inspections and documents.
A roll-call vote recorded Commissioners Joseph Sterniolo, Laura Medrano and Shannon McCullough and Chair Stewart Polity as voting “aye.” Commissioner Alicia DeAngelis was not present. The motion passed 4–0 with one member absent. No disciplinary history was reported for Kelly; he answered “No” when asked whether he had previously been manager of record on a license that had a violation.
The approval was recorded as conditional pending final payment and documentation from city departments; no additional restrictions or hours were imposed in the vote.
