South Bay Water approves corrected minutes and demands, warrants; Martinez Perez abstains on minutes

The South Bay Water Board of Directors approved two routine items during the Feb. 12, 2025, meeting: corrected minutes of a Jan. 26 special meeting and the demands and warrants listed in the agenda packet.
The board approved the special-meeting minutes (item 6) as amended to reflect two friendly amendments accepted at the Jan. 26 meeting: increased spacing around the seal with language to improve ADA accessibility, and changing a policy-review term to “annual” rather than “periodic.” The motion to approve the minutes as amended passed with directors Castaneda, Cox, Delgado and Martinez voting in favor and Director Martinez Perez abstaining because she was not present at the Jan. 26 meeting.
The board then approved the demands and warrants (item 7) as presented. The motion passed unanimously with directors Castaneda, Cox, Herr Gallardo, Martinez and Martinez Perez recorded in favor.
No public comments were received on either item. The approvals were recorded by roll call and entered into the meeting minutes.
