NORTH BEND, Ore. — The North Bend School District Board on Jan. 9 unanimously extended Superintendent Vince Swaggerty’s employment agreement for one additional year effective July 1, 2025, adopted a set of district policies that include nutrition and wellness provisions, and discussed steps to add a second preschool classroom at North Bay.
The board read the superintendent’s evaluation, conducted earlier in executive session using the Coalition of Oregon School Administrators’ evaluation standards and two board-established goals, and found Swaggerty’s performance “accomplished” in nearly all areas.
