Sheriff's office outlines beach and spring‑break planning as weekend crowds rise

The briefing noted that county residents can use Park Volusia for off‑beach parking with free parking options while on‑beach parking is paid. Officials encouraged residents to use off‑beach parking lots to reduce congestion on the beach strip during major events.
