Finley Elementary hosted the White County Board of Education on Feb. 13, where Principal Rebecca Ryan and district leaders highlighted school- and district-level achievements and upcoming initiatives.
Ryan opened by welcoming the board and noted Finley has 417 students and “we currently have 1 comprehensive development class that has 17 students,” and she said the school houses the majority of the district’s English-language learners. Ryan recognized cafeteria staff, the school nurse and custodial teams for day-to-day contributions and announced that the school was selected as one of six nominees…
