Board unanimously approves renewal of CSUSB student-teaching agreement through 2030

The board unanimously approved a renewal of the learning-agreement with California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) extending from 2025 to 2030. The agreement continues SnowlineUnified's placement of CSUSB interns, student teachers and practicum students in district classrooms and specifies that the university will not charge the district a fee.
The district human-resources presenter said the agreement costs the district no fee and was recommended for approval. A trustee made the motion; another trustee seconded and the measure passed by unanimous voice vote.
Board members did not debate the item at length and expressed appreciation for the ongoing university partnership that supports teacher candidates and provides classroom support at no cost to the district.
