Ideas included tree-labeling or demonstration plantings at popular walking trails, a school competition for waste reduction, a clothing swap or thrift-style event, carbon-footprint pledges tied to an assessment tool, a social-media video prompt and short volunteer projects such as compost or pocket-forest plantings at schools.
