The Mountain View Rent Stabilization Division told the Rental Housing Committee on Jan. 23 that it expanded outreach and education in fiscal year 2023-24 and into 2024-25, translated key materials into Spanish, Mandarin and Russian, redesigned the division's website, and achieved higher registration and fee-payment compliance.
Staff reported that registration compliance rose from 42% (2022 cycle) to 88% (2023 cycle) and is now at 94% with fee-payment compliance at 95% following outreach efforts, mailings, workshops and direct assistance.
