House amends measure authorizing sale of two K‑State properties, adds appraisal requirement

Representative Howe said the Riley County sale was estimated to return about $3,500,000 to K‑State for deferred maintenance; the Omaha/VetMed satellite property was estimated at about $1,100,000 to support renovations and repairs. The amendment was adopted by voice vote, the committee report was adopted and the Committee of the Whole reported the bill favorably as amended.
