The Johnson City Regional Planning Commission voted Feb. 11 to approve the preliminary plat for Keebler Townhome Phase 1, a proposed set of 25 townhome units arranged on a single common lot.
Whitney Hodges of Planning and Development Services presented the plat and noted a late revision to depict an added sidewalk. Hodges said the preliminary plat meets the subdivision ordinance’s setbacks and other requirements, and staff recommended approval.
There were no public comments on this agenda item. A commissioner called the project “straightforward,” noting compliance with subdivision regulations and moved to recommend approval; another commissioner seconded. Commissioners Aldridge, Cooper, Dutton, Williams and Vice Chairman Ochenbein voted yes on a roll call.
The item will proceed to final plat review and the city’s standard permitting steps, where engineering plans, right‑of‑way and sidewalk construction will be resolved with Public Works.
