Resident Allison Jumper asked whether the trust could be used to pay for grass rather than artificial turf if the community later preferred that option. Board members explained the current trust fund is designated specifically for artificial turf replacement and cannot be used otherwise without dissolving or amending the trust through a future warrant. The board noted they could establish a separate trust with a broader purpose in a later meeting if voters desired.
Board members said the district implemented a new facilities‑use fee schedule last year to collect rental fees for fields and other facilities; the presenters said roughly $20,000 in rental fees had been collected to date and that the district expects ongoing rental income to contribute to maintenance and replacement funds. Moderator Michael Williams called the show‑of‑cards vote and Article 7 was moved to the ballot.
