PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. — The Pueblo County Board of County Commissioners took the following formal actions at its Feb. 4 meeting.
- Resolution authorizing submission of the annual road mileage report to the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT): Approved by voice vote. The county described this as a routine annual filing to CDOT.
- Resolution authorizing a memorandum of understanding for the regional auto-theft task force ("battle task force"): Approved by voice vote. County staff said the MOU allows member agencies to collaborate on automobile-theft investigations and makes member agencies eligible to apply for funds from the Colorado Automobile Theft Prevention Authority for equipment and overtime.
- Resolution appointing the county commissioners to the board of directors of the running sports complex commission: Approved by voice vote.
- Resolution approving an intergovernmental agreement between the Colorado Department of Transportation and Pueblo County for Connecting Communities funding (Item 2a): Approved by voice vote; the agreement accepts $12,000,000 to build multimodal trail and use improvements connecting Pueblo West and the city of Pueblo (see separate article for full discussion).
Each item was presented on the consent agenda except the CDOT agreement, which was introduced as a regular agenda item and discussed by county staff.
