The Cottage Grove Utility Commission on Feb. 12 approved routine minutes and vouchers and approved Verizon’s equipment drawings for Tower 2 with staff recommendations, the commission chair said.
The votes also included approval of a fully signed offer to purchase the parcel identified for the future Bridal Lift Station, which the commission had previously approved in principle at its January meeting and which now moves the village forward to complete due diligence and a Phase I environmental assessment.
The votes were taken by voice; the meeting record shows motions and seconding for each item but does not include a formal roll-call tally in the transcript packet. The minutes approval motion was made and seconded, and the chair indicated the motion passed. The vouchers motion was made and seconded and carried by voice vote. The motion to approve the Tower 2 drawings (with staff recommendations about cabling placement) was moved and seconded and approved. The motion to approve the signed offer to purchase the Bridal Lift Station parcel was moved and seconded and approved.
