Onalaska council approves multiple finance transfers, utility repair and development amendment; denies claim in closed session

The Onalaska Common Council on Tuesday approved a series of financial and administrative measures, authorized a municipal well repair and pump replacement, approved an amendment to a development agreement and denied a liability claim in closed session.

The council approved vouchers totaling $3,087,985.08; adopted multiple budget-transfer resolutions including action to establish parameters for the sale of up to $8,100,000 in general obligation promissory notes; authorized transfers among 2024 general fund accounts and transfers to special revenue and debt service funds; approved a purchase and repair contract for municipal well No. 8 that raises the project total to $80,100; approved an amendment to the development agreement with Traditional Trades for the Sand Lake Road Fields project; reserved $100,000 for a one-time employee retention payment; and, in closed session, voted to deny a claim by Darlene Hansen.
