Farmersville High outlines plan to end WASC probation; visit expected March 18–19

Gonzales described work since the process began: five stakeholder meetings, weekly teacher staff meetings, alignment of schoolwide learning outcomes to WASC expectations and alignment of resources to the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) and LCAP. He said the WASC team visit is anticipated March 18–19, 2025, and that two visiting administrators — one from Clovis Unified and one from Madera Unified — were expected to make the two-day visit.
Why it matters: Accreditation affects high-school standing and postsecondary considerations; Gonzales told the board the team will likely meet with district leaders, teachers, parents and students and said the school is preparing those stakeholder groups.
